The UK Government is introducing a new law about selling tobacco and vape products in England and Wales. It is expected to become law from 1 January 2027.

  • You’ll need both a personal and premises licence to sell vapes.
  • Councils will have new powers to inspect, fine, or prosecute shops.
  • Expect licence fees, more record keeping, and new training rules.
  • The new law is expected to start on 1 January 2027.
